About We Skeem

We Skeem is an independent solo artist. His music styling is a blend of alternative pop, electronic/synth, and emo. In the early 2000s, Rob (We Skeem) was releasing acoustic/ballad and pop punk styled songs under the name After the Tone. After the Tone started to gain some national notoriety in 2008. However, after failed negotiations to secure a record label, the project was put on an indefinite hiatus (and would not resurface until 2021).

In 2018, Rob created the masked persona known as We Skeem. In the beginning, We Skeem was an alternative hip-hop and comedy project. Over time, however, it transitioned into something more in-line with the musical passions that had fueled Rob for his entire life. Inspired by the likes of blink-182, Blue October, Dashboard Confessional, Hellogoodbye, The Ready Set, Ryan Caraveo, Powfu, and others; We Skeem is a unique melding of genres like nothing you’ve heard before.

In 2022, Rob opened "We Skeem Studio," a professional recording studio in central Indiana. 

Outside of his music and studio management, We Skeem is a content creator and streamer on YouTube, Tik Tok, and Twitch.
